At Message Community Church, we want to show God’s love to everyone in our community — especially those who are sick, hurting, or in hospital. We know that times of illness can be tough, lonely, and scary, and we want you to know that Jesus is with you and so is your church family.
Why We Visit
Jesus teaches us to care for one another, especially those who are weak or unwell. When we take time to visit someone who is sick, we bring the power of prayer, comfort, friendship, and the hope of Jesus into their world. Visiting is a powerful way to show love in action and to remind people that they are not forgotten.
What Happens in a Visit
When we come to see you at home or in hospital, we aim to:
- Listen to you and hear how you are feeling.
- Share a bit of encouragement and let you know you matter to God and to us.
- Pray with you — if you would like that. We will always ask for your permission before we pray.
Prayer is simply talking to God with honest words from the heart. We believe God listens, cares, and brings peace.
We Respect You
We understand that every person and situation is different. For some people, a visit and prayer will be very welcome. For others, you might just want a quick chat or a card. That’s okay. We always respect what you feel comfortable with.
